Website Refresh Project

With our new home page, we’ve taken our first steps in our Website Refresh Project.

What’s going on?

Over the next few months, we will be talking to people who use our website, finding out what and how they use it. We’ll be conducting interviews about the user experience, and sending out a brief survey to learn what is most important to our users.

At each stage of the refresh we will be using the information gathered in this stage to make decisions around how and why we organize and design our website. We will also be sharing short updates on the process here in our Web Refresh journal.

Why are we doing this?

Our goal is to create a responsive, easy to navigate, user centred web experience.

I don’t understand what you mean when you say user!

That’s okay. As we move through the project, there may be terms you aren’t familiar with. As we update, we will explain these new terms.

User- The user is a term which describes anyone who uses our website

User Centred- is a term which means taking the needs of the user into account first when creating the website.
