Join the SRNA for an information session about the consultation launching April 1, 2017 to inform the CNA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses refresh. During this session the changes that have been proposed by CNA will be highlighted and the steps being taken to obtain stakeholder feedback from members on this foundation document for RN practice in Saskatchewan will be shared. Topic: RN Specialty Practices for All RNs: The Future is here for RN Practice

My workplace has developed policies and protocols for RN Specialty Practices (RNSP).  They have come into effect January 1, 2017.  Who can use them?  If I work with RN(NP)s and RN(AAP)s, am I also allowed to use the RNSP protocols?  This webinar will provide information and discussion as to how all RNs can use RNSPs to optimize their scope of practice. This session applies to all RNs and is related to competencies 72 and 85.

Topic: Bylaw Process for Annual General Meeting

The SRNA annual meeting is fast approaching, save the date May 4, 2017 and join us at TCU Place in Saskatoon. Joanne Petersen, chair of the Legislation and Bylaw Committee welcomes all members to a webinar to hear about the proposed bylaw changes that will be presented to the membership at the AGM. This is a great opportunity to review the proposed changes prior to the AGM, to understand the rationale and impact and most importantly to make an informed decision prior to voting on the changes. We look forward to sharing and discussing the bylaw changes with interested members.
